The Neighborhood

Germantown is one of the most historic neighborhoods in Nashville. This area gained its name in the mid-19th century when many German immigrants called this area home. Brick sidewalks, green spaces, and a strong community presence are all hallmarks of this area. Rosa L Parks Boulevard and Jefferson Street form the edges of this community. Hume Street and 2nd Avenue North run along the opposite edges making an almost perfect square. This area also borders Bicentennial Park, making it one of the most outdoor-centric areas in the city.

The Market

Germantown offers extremely diverse housing opportunities. Residents love the renovated, historic Victorian buildings throughout the neighborhood. If you prefer newly built homes, condos, lofts, townhouses, and single family homes are also all apart of the landscape of Germantown.

The Lifestyle

Germantown is an easily walkable neighborhood full of high-end shops, beloved restaurants, and outdoor spaces. This area has been deemed a city Arboretum so residents can enjoy protected natural greenery. This area is also on the National Register of Historic Places so there are plenty of historically significant locations to visit. Lastly, Nashville’s minor league baseball team, The Sounds, play just a short walk away, so truly the best of city living is at residents’ fingertips!
